HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- The body of missing Henrico father Hardin Brotherton was discovered Friday near the Goochland field where his vehicle was discovered Thursday afternoon. Foul play was not suspected in Brotherton's death.
Brotherton, 37, was last seen alive Thursday morning when he walked out of his western Henrico home, his wife Angie said. Brotherton's car was found crashed on Ashland Road in Rockville, several miles from his home. Brotherton, who attended the Collegiate School and Virginia Episcopal School, worked at Cross Over Ministry.
He seemed okay the last time his wife saw him.
"He was normal yesterday morning. He got up and made pancakes and seemed like he was in a good mood. No arguments or anything like that," Angie Brotherton said. "When I got out of the shower he was gone."
Friends and family gathered Friday morning to aid in the search for the father of two small children.
