CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. -- The 16-year-old who shot and killed a classmate near the YMCA in Caroline County earlier this year pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, attempted murder and two firearms charges.
Deputies said Ahmad Goodall and the victim, 15-year-old Elijah "Buck” Ball, had an ongoing issue of “not 'liking' each other."
The situation resulted in the March 21 shooting.
Goodall is set to be sentenced on Dec. 3.
There has been no agreement yet about how much time he will serve. But he may serve part of his sentence in a juvenile facility.
