RICHMOND, Va. -- Police set-up a mobile command unit in Richmond's Gilpin Court community Tuesday night after two shootings in the neighborhood.
One person was shot multiple times and suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting reported at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday along the 1100 block of St. John Street. The name of the shooting victim and investigative details about the shooting suspect have not yet been released.
The shooting was the second one reported in Gilpin Court Tuesday. The first shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in the 1300 block of St. John Street.
Again, no information about a shooting suspect has been released. Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
