SUV slammed by hit and run driver propels third car into Richmond store

RICHMOND, Va. -- A SUV appears to have propelled a car into a building during a multi-vehicle accident that occurred around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the 3400 block of Hull Street Road. That SUV was involved in a hit and run accident in front of the Jack Rabbit Convenience Store. The impact knocked the SUV into the car parked in the store parking lot.

Police said that they have recovered the vehicle of the hit and run driver, but are searching for the driver.

A sedan is almost completely inside the store, with it's grill facing a SUV, whose tires rest against the curb.

A building inspector is on the way to assess the damage to the Jack Rabbit Convenience Store.

At least one person was taken off in an ambulance, but the extent of injuries are unknown at this point.
