RICHMOND, Va. — A  Richmond man had a great Monday when he won $200,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Win It All Scratcher game.

It happened when he stopped for gas at 60 Mart, 3109 Williamsburg Road in Richmond, and bought a Win It All ticket.

“I might win about $30 or $40,” he said he recalled thinking.

As he began scratching the ticket, he was happy to see that he might have won $200. But then he noticed something unusual.

“I’ve got too many zeros on this thing!” thought Josh Jones.

He was right. The ticket was actually worth $200,000.

“It’s a great Monday!” he said.

Lottery officials said he is the second player to claim the top prize, which means there are still three $200,000 tickets unclaimed. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,468,800. The odds of winning any prize in this game are 1 in 4.3.

Mr. Jones said he has no immediate plans for his winnings.

“I’m going to let it marinate,” he said.
