MANSFIELD, Ohio -- A drone was used to deliver drugs to the recreation yard of an Ohio prison. Guards at Mansfield Correctional Institution found the drugs after a fight broke out among inmates, WSYX reported. Security video showed a drone dropping off the drugs.
"You'd have to be pretty savvy and know a lot about the scenario to pull something like that off," drone expert Kyle Belman said. "They don't fly themselves and you look on YouTube, number one drone fail videos and its countless amounts of drones smacking into a high rise."
Prison officials said nine inmates were involved in the fight over the drone-dropped drugs. The investigation into who flew the drugs into the prison remained ongoing.
