COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va — A fire broke out inside a unit in a Colonial Heights apartment building Thursday night.
Firefighters say it happened at an apartment building at the 100 block of Pickwick Avenue at around 8 Thursday night. They found the fire limited to one of the apartments.
Everyone side was able to make it out safely. The fire damaged the one unit and displaced the person who lives there.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
