Man wanted for throwing rocks at Belle Isle camera

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police released two photos of a man wanted for vandalism at Richmond's Belle Isle. Police described the suspect as a thin, white male with curly brown hair wearing a blue, sleeveless shirt and red shorts at the time of the incident.

"At approximately 6:44 p.m., Thursday, May 7, the suspect was photographed at the old hydropower station throwing rocks at a surveillance camera. The camera was recently recovered from the James River," Richmond Police said.

Other vandalism suspects whose photos were put on social media have been identified and charged, Richmond Police Lt. Dan Minton said.

Anyone with information was asked to call First Precinct Lieutenant Dan Minton at (804) 240-9158 call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
