CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Search warrants revealed no evidence of blood found in Jesse Matthew’s car seized after the disappearance of Hannah Graham.
The court document listed a number of warrants and orders issued by the Albemarle judge who the defense wanted off the case. The documents authorized by the judge included the information that there was no blood DNA removed from Matthew’s car.
Investigators also retrieved Matthew’s and Graham's phones and various digital records, along with those of at least one more unknown third party. Matthew is charged with capital murder in the second-year University of Virginia student’s death.
The next motion hearing is set for August 20. Matthew's trial was scheduled for 2016.
