RICHMOND, Va -- The Richmond School Board met Monday night to discuss the renaming of Thompson and Elkhardt middle school, among other issues.
According to Richmond School Board member Kim Gray, Elkhard-Thompson Middle School will be the new name until a new school is built. "We will continue to seek public input for the permanent name once the new school comes online," Kim Gray told CBS 6.
Back in May the board voted to combine the two schools after mold shut down Elkhardt.
