RICHMOND, Va - Ellie St. John, Producer of the Richmond 48 Hour Film Project, and Dave Romero, Filmmaker and winner of the 2013 48 Hour Film Project, visited the studio to challenge up-and-coming filmmakers to join the world’s largest timed film making competition. Teams will race to produce short films from start to finish in just 48 hours. The winners receive national prizes of Movie Magic Screenwriting Software and Pond5 gift certificates. The contest kicks off Friday, July 17th and ends Sunday, July 19th. Films will be screened at the Byrd Theatre Saturday, July 25th and Sunday, July 26th, wish the Top films screening and awards ceremony on August 2nd. For more information visit www.48hourfilm.com.
