ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A powerful photo of a North Carolina couple who said a prayer before their wedding went viral over Memorial Day weekend. When Dwayne Schmidt Photography uploaded the photo, the photographer said the image showed the couple right before their wedding ceremony.
I have photographed a lot of weddings. This has to be one of the best things I have ever got to see much less photograph. Before the ceremony and before they saw each other, Caleb said a prayer for their marriage and lives.
You can see the bride and groom get emotional as they joined hands and prayed. WLOS reported on Facebook that the image features U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Caleb Earwood and his new wife Maggie, both from Asheville. The couple married on Saturday.
