COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — An overnight accident closed a rural road in Colonial Heights.
The Deputy Fire Marshall Lt. Joe Boisseau tells CBS 6 News crews shut down both lanes near Conduit Road at Riveroaks Drive sometime before 5:00 am Sunday morning after an accident.
Authorities say an accident damaged utility poles.
According to Dominion Virginia Power the crash briefly knocked out power for some customers, electricity has since been restored.
Right now there is no word on the number of cars involved or the extent of the damage.
