RICHMOND, Va - Karin Bowles, Director of Strategy at Virginia Early Childhood Foundation, and Dr. Sam T. Bartle, M.D., FAAP, Vice President of Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, talked about their new initiative ‘Smart Beginnings Start With Families: Healthy Children are Ready to Learn.’ This campaign focuses on the health development of young children by developing and implementing statewide strategies to help parents, family members, and caregivers understand the importance of children’s early years. ‘Smart Beginnings’ runs from Sunday, May 10th through Sunday, June 21st.
