RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia Commonwealth University’s Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity (PIKE), VCU Medical Center, and the Richmond Fire Department (RFD) have teamed up for their fourth annual Fireman’s Challenge to benefit and raise awareness for the MCV Evans-Haynes Burn Center.

Last year PIKE raised over $20,000. This year their goal is to eclipse the $30,000 mark, all of which will go directly to the MCV Evans-Haynes Burn Center.

This year’s Fireman’s Challenge featured a week-long series of events and competitions, including an opening ceremony, iron chef competition, and PIKE Pageant. These events also featured guest speakers from the Evans-Haynes Burn Center and burn victims.
