Dollar Tree remains open after car hits Richmond store

Posted

RICHMOND, Va. — No one was seriously injured when a car hit the Dollar Tree on Sheila Lane in South Richmond Thursday. A witness took a photo of the incident. A person who answered the phone at the store said the Dollar Tree remained opened after the car made impact.

Richmond firefighters were called to the store at about 12: 38 p.m., Richmond Fire spokesman Lt. Chris Armstrong said. An investigation into what caused the accident remained on-going.

In March, another car crashed into the same Richmond store.
