RICHMOND, Va - Award-winning Author and Playwright David L. Robbins created a personal story with universal truths to be brought to the stage with his latest project, ‘Sam and Carol: A Play Where Everything is True.’ Presented by Henley Street Theatre and Richmond Shakespeare and directed by Jan Powell, the play is based on David’s own parents’ lives, starting during WWII and ending in modern day Richmond. Eva DeVirgilis, playing the role of David’s mother, Carol, shared a sample performance from the play. A preview of the show is Thursday, April 2nd, with the official opening on Friday, April 3rd and running through Saturday, April 25th. All shows are at Gottwald Playhouse at Richmond CenterStage.
