DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. -- A man was injured in an early-morning fire inside a Dinwiddie County home.
The ceiling eventually collapsed, which alerted him to the attic fire, according to firefighters.
The injured man called 911 around midnight and said the ceiling was on fire.
The man was taken to VCU Medical Center. His condition has not yet been released.
Two other men inside the Plane Court home were able to escape the fire. The cause of the fire remained under investigation Monday morning.
