COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- The Chesterfield high school student knocked unconscious in a fight that was recorded and shared on social media was among those charged in connection with the fight. The 18-year-old high school senior was charged with Assault and Batter, Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct, according to Colonial Heights Police.

"As a result of the investigation two adults and one juvenile have been charged," the Colonial Heights Police Department announced via press release.

In addition to the 18-year-old Chesterfield student, a 19-year-old Petersburg man and a 17-year-old from Chester were also charged with Assault and Batter, Trespass and Disorderly Conduct.

The 18-year-old student appeared to suffer seizure after he was punched in the face and knocked to the ground during the fight along the 600 block of Boulevard in Colonial Heights Saturday night. His father told CBS 6 senior reported Wayne Covil his son was knocked unconscious and woke up in the ambulance on the drive to the hospital.

In the video, which was posted to WorldStarHipHop, a group of teenagers stand outside a car, open the car’s door and coax the passenger out. Once outside the vehicle, the passenger and one of the high school-aged teens fight. During the fight, the passenger is knocked to the ground and has what appears to be a seizure. Members of the group that surrounded the car yell at the fallen passenger to “get up” and told onlookers he was "just sleeping."

The incident, which was reported at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, was witnessed by several people who called 911 after seeing what happened.

“I think someone out here is having a seizure,” one 911 caller said after she witnessed the fight. “He’s lying there and I don’t know if he’s breathing.”

“There was a bad fight down here ma’am. We have an injured gentleman on the ground. We’re going to need an ambulance and police,” another 911 caller stated.

The passenger's father indicated he believed a social media post about a girl prompted the assault. The conversation between the passenger and the group of people outside the car appears to be about a girl as well.

This is a developing story.
