CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – The body of an unidentified man was found Feb. 15, under a bridge that crosses the Appomattox River.
The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating the death.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
His body was discovered Sunday afternoon under the bridge on Temple Avenue, between Prince George County and Colonial Heights. He was not found in the water.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
