RICHMOND, Va. -- There are multiple advisories in effect today for wind gusts and wind chill. Skies will be mostly sunny today, but the sun will do little to warm the temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 20s, and the warmest wind chills this afternoon will be in the teens. Winds will gradually decrease towards evening. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy overnight. Lows at daybreak Monday will be in the single digits. Despite plenty of sunshine, afternoon highs will only be in the 20s, with wind chills in the low teens. This will be the coldest air of the season, with temperatures lowering into the single digits in most locations Monday morning.
The wind has also knocked power out for thousands of Dominion customers in the viewing area.
