COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — A Virginia State Police Dive Team training on Swift Creek Monday discovered a body near the White Bank Boat Ramp in Colonial Heights. The body was pulled from the water sent to the Medical Examiners Office in Richmond for positive identification.

The area where the body was found was the same area crews searched in December and January for a missing Colonial Heights man. On December 27, CBS 6 senior reporter Wayne Covil spent the day on Swift Creek with Colonial Heights Fire crews searching for John Pratsinak.

Pratsinak, 30, was last seen leaving his Conjurers Drive home on Christmas Eve.

This is a developing story.
