GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- Henrico Police continue to search for two men who robbed a driver in a Glen Allen shopping center parking lot. Police were called to the parking lot, along the 9000 block of Staples Mill Road, at about 10:43 p.m. Tuesday. A driver called police and said he was robbed in the parking lot.
"The victim was parking his vehicle in the lot when he was approached by an unknown male wearing a camouflage jacket," Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said. "The victim exited his vehicle and the suspect produced a handgun and demanded his money. The victim gave the suspect money and the suspect fled on foot."
Earlier that night, Lt. Eley said, someone who matched one of the suspect's descriptions tried to "enter an occupied vehicle."
Henrico Police provided the following description of the suspects:
Suspect #1: Black male, 19-26 years old, 5'7" - 5'10", 150-180, scruffy beard, wearing a thin camouflage jacket and camouflage pants. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. He had tattoos on his left hand and forearm.
Suspect #2: Black male, 18 - 26 years old, 5'10" - 6'02", wearing all black baggy clothing and a red bandanna covering his face.
