RICHMOND, Va. — A VCU alert was sent out at 5:52 p.m., warning of a fire at a parking deck on 8th Street, at the VCU Medical Center campus.
The alert asked people to avoid the area. A short time later the Richmond Fire Department said that a single car fire had been extinguished.
