Ashland CEO sentenced to prison over sexual relationship with teen

ASHLAND, Va. — The CEO of Ashland Roller Mills was sentenced to five years in prison, with three years suspended, during his sentencing hearing in Henrico Court on Friday.  Todd Attkisson, 53, will spend a total of two years in prison.

Attkisson pleaded guilty, in June,  to one count of taking indecent liberties with a minor. Eight additional charges against Attkisson were Nolle prossed. Attkisson was arrested in August 2013 after accusations of a sexual relationship with an underage teenage came to light.

Court documents alleged Attkisson and the girl, who is now 19, were physically involved between November 2008 and January 2011
