HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police and firefighters searched the James River Wednesday after someone reported seeing a person jump off the Pocahontas Parkway. A driver told a toll attendant he saw a car parked on the bridge and then saw someone jump off Pocahontas Parkway (895) near the Chippenham Parkway at about 9 a.m.

The fall off the bridge into the river is about 180 feet, according to Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick.
