RICHMOND, Va. — “Weird Al” Yankovic is coming to Richmond. Tickets to his June 11 show at Carpenter Theater go on sale Friday, January 30. The weird one is also hosting a pre-sale, ticket sale January 27 on his website. Tickets range in price from $45 – $55.

Weird Al’s 14th studio album, Mandatory Fun, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart when it was released last year.

“This is the first time in over 50 years that a comedy album has topped the charts, and the first time ever that a comedy album debuted in the top position. Mandatory Fun has also been nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Comedy Album,” a statement from concert promoters read.
