NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — It just got a lot harder to keep up with the Joneses in Manhattan’s “Billionaire’s Row.”

A record-breaking $100 million luxury residence was purchased on Dec.23.

The buyer, whose identity has not been revealed, dished out $100,471,452.77 for a two-level duplex penthouse in skyscraper One57 in Midtown Manhattan.

The purchase is the highest price paid for a residence in New York City.

The unit, no. 90, spans the 89th and 90th floors and is sure to offer breath-taking views of Central Park.

The building, designed by Christian De Portzampark, rises 1,000 feet and is a mixed-use building with 210 hotel rooms. Residents have access to in-room dining and spa services, a swimming pool and cleaning and dog-walking amenities.

According to real estate website StreetEasy, there are currently 10 active sales in the building: a three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence is listed for just under $39 million, while a five-bedroom, 5,475 square- foot condo is listed at $31.8 million.
