ISLE OF WIGHT, Va. – The Isle of Wight’s Government website was hacked Friday by a group claiming to be allied with the terror group ISIS.
According to sister affiliate WTKR, Donald Robertson, the Public Information Officer for Isle of Wight County, says the website was filled with pro-ISIS propaganda, messages and video.
Officials are not sure yet if it is an ISIS group or another organization.
The FBI has been notified.
This comes on the heels of the New York Post and United Press International Twitter feeds getting hacked earlier on Friday.
