VCU comes from behind to beat Rhode Island 65-60. Senior Treveon Graham had 26 points, 16 in the second half, most of those coming after spraining his ankle while diving for a loose ball. It's the Rams' 9th win in a row and moves them to 4-0 in the A-10 and 12-3 overall

UVA gets 16 points from Malcolm Brogdon, and 15 from Justin Anderson in a 65-42 win over Clemson at the JPJ. The Cavs blew open a 6 point halftime lead with a 29-6 run to open the second half, at one point holding the Tigers scoreless for 5 1/2 minutes. UVA improves to 16-0, and are 4-0 to start their ACC schedule for the first time in 20 years

Virginia Tech loses on the road at 6th ranked Louisville 78-63. It was the first time since 1991 the two teams had met.

Virginia Tech commit Chris Cook scored 23 points as Cape Henry-Collegiate beat Benedictine 70-50
