Help identify robber that struck Chinese restaurant on Christmas

RICHMOND, Va. — The Richmond Police Department needs the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a restaurant on Christmas Day.

At approximately 6:53 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 25, police said the suspect entered the China House restaurant at 3014 Jefferson Davis Highway, brandished a shotgun and robbed the business.

The suspect fled on foot. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’ 8” tall and weighing 125 pounds. He was wearing black clothing and a black hat and scarf. He wore what appeared to be a wedding ring and also had a scar or tattoo on the top of his left hand.
