On Christmas Day, the call for "trained" volunteers went out. And from across the state, they came.  Many ending their time with loved ones on Christmas to join the search for the missing man.

But this is the norm for most of these trained volunteers and officials say that they'd be more surprised if the their call for help went unanswered no matter what time of year it is.

The Virginia State Police have also joined the search using a sonar device to scan the Appomattox River and the Colonial Heights Fire Department will have a boat out in the river searching the banks.

Colonial Heights Police are asking that if you have any information about Pratsinak, you should call their non-emergency number at 804-520-9300.
