Virginia ABC stores closing early Christmas Eve — please plan accordingly

RICHMOND, Va. — Attention procrastinators the very last moment you can buy alcohol at a Virginia ABC store before Christmas is 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. All 350 Virginia ABC stores will be closed on Christmas Day.
Please plan accordingly (and drive safely) if you need some extra holiday cheer.
It will be less of a rush on New Year’s Eve as Virginia ABC stores will be open for regular business hours that day.
