WAVERLY, Va. — Police in Waverly say a 19-year-old woman reported missing on Friday has been found safe.
“I have located Nikki Sherelle Barrow and she is safe,” Waverly Police Officer C. Washington said in a news release.
Washington also credited the public for their help finding Barrow. In fact, Washington said that the public as it played an “integral role in my finding Ms. Barrow safe.”
Barrow’s family told police they last saw her about three weeks ago.
Officials said she had last been seen leaving the John Randolph Medical Center on Dec. 1.
