NEW YORK — Buddy Valastro, the celebrity chef and star of “Cake Boss” was arrested Thursday in New York City and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to a report on PIX11.com.
New York City Police said they spotted Valastro’s 2014 Corvette erratically swerving in and out of traffic at about 1 a.m.
The officers who stopped the car said Valastro smelled of alcohol. Valastro, 37, failed a field sobriety test, police said.
Valastro is the star of “Cake Boss,” a reality series that premiered on TLC in 2009.
