RICHMOND, Va. –A motorcycle accident at Brook Road and Sherwood Avenue has left the motorcycle driver suffering visible injuries.
The motorcyclist was traveling south bound on Brook Road. A female driver of a vehicle was making a U-turn when her car struck the motorcycle. She was charged with failure to yield, police said.
Photos submitted to CBS 6 by a viewer show a man downed in the road. There are photos that are too graphic to show. The man has suffered a severe injury, a deep gash, to his wrist and forearm.
The victim was sent to VCU Medical and suffered a critical but non-life threatening injury, police said.
First responders were on scene at 4:12 p.m., after receiving a call at 4:06 p.m. Monday, according to Richmond Police.
