CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A Chesterfield woman was charged with numerous crimes after a domestic dispute that involved a family member, a dog, a pond and a police officer.
Deeann C. Walker, 50, of Bluff Ridge Drive, assaulted that family member and dropped the dog into the pond during a November 5 domestic dispute, a Chesterfield police spokeswoman said. When police responded to the call, Walker attempted to have the dog bite the officers. Neither the dog, nor the officers were hurt.
Walker is charged with Assault and Battery of a family member, Assault and Battery of a police officer, Felonious assault, Animal cruelty and Profane swearing and intoxication.
