CHARLES CITY, Va. –The local man accused of abducting a Philadelphia woman and a Richmond teenager posted disturbing comments on his Facebook page.

The social media posts were made last month, just a few days after police say he abducted a Richmond teen, stuffing her into his trunk and taking her to his Charles City home where he tortured and raped her.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that this is Barnes' Facebook page.

Barnes appears to insult someone, but says he won't name them on his page because “they might snitch."

That post is made on October 5, which was just two days after the 16-year-old girl was found bloody and naked, having escaped from Barnes’ home.

A separate post that same day said he's from Philadelphia, and implied that people who snitch end up dead.

The most recent visible post, made on October 16, said "people talk about snitching like it's funny, or it's a game. Wonder why the graves are filled."

The case involving the Richmond teen was not made public, until Barnes was arrested in Maryland earlier this week, and charged with kidnapping a Philadelphia woman.

He was brought back to Charles City late Thursday night.

What helped track Barnes was something that had been on his car all along, a GPS tracker usually applied to cars where owners have bad credit.

Barnesis now on suicide watch inside the Riverside Regional Jail.
