RICHMOND, Va. -- The FBI and law enforcement from multiple jurisdictions have combined efforts to identify and locate a suspect responsible for several robberies around Virginia.
Investigators believe robberies occurring in the counties of Henrico, Hanover, Arlington, and Prince William; and the cities of Fredericksburg, Williamsburg and Hampton are the work of one person.
During robberies at both CVS and Rite-Aid the man approached the pharmacy counter with a white cloth over his face and revealed to the attending pharmacist a black handgun tucked in his waistband. The subject demands Oxycodone pills and cash from the register before fleeing the store.
In some situations police say the suspect has gone behind the counter to gather Oxycodone, Percocet or Xanax pills himself, but has not always been successful. In several of these robberies, the subject was observed leaving the premises in a light colored, possibly white or silver, Dodge Nitro SUV.
"He's stealing one drug in particular that's worth a lot on the street,” said Mike Banks, a forensic psychologist. “Maybe it's his source of income, which will be curtailed sooner or later. Someone will stop him."
The subject is described anywhere from 5’7” to 6’0”, 150-175 pounds, average build, light complexion,with a black beard.

Oct. 26 -- CVS on West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton
Investigators from the FBI, the Henrico County Police Division, the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, the Fredericksburg Police Department, the City of Williamsburg Police Department, the Arlington County Police Department, the Prince William County Police Department, and the Hampton Police Department encourage the public to contact authorities with tips that may lead to the identification and/or location of this suspect.
