RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating after a woman was found shot and killed inside a Richmond hotel room.
"Shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to the Clarion Hotel in the 3200 block of North Boulevard for reports of a disturbance," Richmond Police spokesman Gene Lepley wrote in an email. "In one of the rooms, they discovered the body of an adult female who had been shot."
Police have not yet released the woman's name, nor information about a possible suspect in the shooting.
Police did indicate this was a homicide investigation.
