Police ID man, teenager killed at Richmond house party

RICHMOND, Va. — A Richmond man and Lynchburg teenager were identified as the men shot and killed early Sunday morning after an argument at a house party, police said.

“Elijah D. Gee, 24, of Red Oak Lane, and Antonio M. Sherman, 18, of the 300 block of Payne Street in Lynchburg, died at the scene,” a Richmond Police spokeswoman said. “A 19-year-old female was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is now in stable condition.”

Police were called to the 400 block of Westover Hills Boulevard at about 2:27 a.m. Sunday for the shooting.

“Detectives believe the shootings stemmed from an argument at a party, and are following up on several leads,” police said.
