CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- After weeks of seeing videos on television and the Internet, it was time for 5th grade students at Evergreen Elementary School in Chesterfield to do the Ice Bucket Challenge.
One hundred seventy five students and seven teachers got soaked with ice water, not only to raise money and awareness for ALS, but also for science. Teachers used the challenge to educate students about the states of matter -- water, frozen water and vapor.
