UPDATE: The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office located Janet Hunter Speas, age 82, in a nearby area from where she was last reportedly seen.
She was found safe, without any injuries.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY- Virginia State police have issued a senior alert for a missing elderly Cumberland county woman, Saturday afternoon
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Janet Hunter Speas, age 82, was last seen Saturday at 70 Woodhaven Trails in Cumberland County.
Speas is described as a white female, 5’3, 100 pounds, with blue eyes, and grey hair.
She was last seen wearing a light green shirt, blue jeans, and a light brown jacket.
Speas also suffers from a cognitive impairment, and her disappearance poses a threat to her health and safety.
