Gunman fires bullets into Henrico house, car

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating a Friday night shooting that damaged a Henrico house and car. Someone fired shots into a home along the 400 block of Winston St., near East Laburnum Avenue, at about 10:40 p.m. A car parked outside the house was also hit.

No one was hurt in the shooting.

"Responding officers were provided a vehicle description of the suspects; a white Chevrolet Cavalier, seen leaving the area," Henrico Police Lt. C.J. Maurice wrote in an email. "Another Police Sergeant spotted the vehicle traveling near Richmond-Henrico Tnpk. and Laburnum Ave. which resulted in a traffic stop being conducted at the Lucky Convenience Store, 607 E. Laburnum Ave."

Police detained and questioned five people who were in the car.

Henrico Police have not yet announced any arrests in this case.
