Man’s body discovered in South Richmond home

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police detectives talked to neighbors and gathered evidence after a man's body was discovered in a home along the 4700 block of Caldwell Avenue, near the intersection of Walmsley Boulevard and Jeff Davis Highway, Thursday afternoon.

The body of the deceased, described as a white man in his 40s, was taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner where cause and manner of death will be determined.

While police have not yet confirmed the man's identity, a woman named Vicki Gregory told CBS 6 that the victim is her brother Milton Jay Rauber.

Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
