Bikes – check! Helmets – check! Anthem Moonlight Ride!

Yes Virginia you and your kids bicycles can ride your bikes in the streets for the Anthem Moonlight Ride Saturday, August 16. The ride features a “full moon” 17 mile, and the “Half Moon” – 8 mile courses, free of automobile traffic. The un-timed, family friendly ride takes you through Lakeside, Bryan Park and the near West End and prizes will be awarded for best costume and tackiest lights.

On line registration ends Wednesday night at 11:59pm but you can still register Friday, August 15 at packet pick up 4 -7pm and Saturday 6pm at Sportsbackers Stadium behind the Diamond. Adult registration is $40 and youth $20. Riders are required to have a helmet and a front white light, Sportsbackers will provide a back light.
