DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — A tow truck driver was killed in a crash on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County early Sunday morning. The truck caught fire during the incident.
The single-vehicle crash happened near mile marker 62 in the northbound lanes at 2:54 a.m., according to Virginia State Police.
At one point, all lanes on I-85 north were closed. All lanes had reopened by 9 a.m.
State Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
