CONROE, Tex. – A Texas man says his day went from bad to worse after he got over pulled for speeding and a passing pickup truck smashed into his car.

Dashcam video shows Jacob Schreiner sitting on the rear bumper of his 2006 Mustang GT when all of a sudden a white pickup truck slammed into the front driver's side of the vehicle.

"I was wiping the dirt off my spoiler," Schreiner explained. "I had to clean my muffler too, 'cause it was kind of dirty."

As the pickup car drove away, video shows Schreiner raise his hands in the air as if to say, "Why me?"

The 20-year-old from Conroe truly loves his sports car, so when he learned the truck caused $5,000 in damages he did shed a few tears.

"Oh I did. I absolutely did," he said when asked if he cried. "I ain't gonna lie. I sure did."

Deputy Tim Shackelford with the Precinct 2 Constables Office in Montgomery County was running Schreiner’s information and had shut his own door seconds before the pickup truck showed up.

The driver of the pickup reportedly told the deputy constable that he spilled a 32-ounce Coke and was bending over to pick up what was left and lost control.

That driver, who did not have insurance, received two citations.

Schreiner couldn't believe his day.

"I got pulled over. Then the guy hit me. It just started in the morning and ended right there,” Schreiner said. "Just kind of the one-two punch."

The officer did not write Schreiner a ticket. He let him go figuring that having to fix his car was more than enough punishment.
