LANHAM, Maryland – It is a day many children, and their parents, dread. Getting shots at the doctor’s office can sometimes turn into a traumatic experience for everyone involved. But a Maryland doctor seems to have come up with a way to keep children laughing and smiling, even while sticking them with needles.

The video was posted on YouTube in 2012, but is once again making the viral rounds after it was re-posted on Reddit. Darden is a Washington, DC-area doctor with who specializes in allergy care and general pediatrics.
