COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. – Police are looking for the man who rang up $200 worth of purchases at McDonald’s and Walmart using a stolen debit card. A Chipotle worker noticed someone had broken into his car outside the Colonial Heights restaurant while he was at work on May 1.
“Among the items taken was the victim’s wallet, which contained his debit card,” Chesterfield County Police Corporal Kevin Bacon wrote in an email. “He was contacted by his bank and told that his debit card had been used twice at the McDonald’s on Southpark Boulevard and once at the Walmart in the same area.”
Police described the suspect as a white male in his late teens to early 20’s.
“He had a thin build and was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black-and-white ball cap,” police said. “He was seen at the McDonald’s in a two-tone, red-and-gray Dodge pickup truck.”
